InventoryByHand is provided by CLEARDEAL LLC. By using this site and the InventoryByHand app, you accept these terms.

The app

The app runs on your own device and is provided as-is. The app is available for a one-time payment of $44, which grants a license to use the app to one household — the buyer and the people living in the same home — on their own devices. Prices are stated as of October 2026 and may change for future buyers.

Your records

Your inventory is your responsibility. The app stores your list on your device and does not send it to CLEARDEAL LLC. You are responsible for installing the app as directed, for exporting copies of your file, and for keeping those copies in places you control. Loss of a device on which the only copy of an inventory was kept, without any exported copy, cannot be undone by CLEARDEAL LLC.

What the app is, and is not

The app is a records tool. It is not an insurer, and it is not insurance advice. It does not decide coverage, claim amounts, or claim outcomes, and it is not approved or certified by any insurer — no such approval exists for inventory apps. Your policy and your insurer decide any claim.

Fair use

Use the app for your own household's records. Do not use this site or the app in a way that breaks the law or another person's rights.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, CLEARDEAL LLC is not liable for losses arising from use of the site or the app, or from records produced with them, including losses arising from a claim decision made by an insurer. The site and the app are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, and without any warranty of claim outcomes.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version on this page at the time of use applies.
